England international Jack Wilshere is expected to make a return to the first team when Bournemouth visit West Ham.
Wilshere was an unused substitute at Manchester United last Saturday amid concerns over a slight muscle problem but has trained all week and should return to the starting line-up to face the Hammers.
Mings will miss the game as he starts his five-match suspension for stamping on United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic last week, while Andrew Surman is also suspended having received a two-match ban for his red card at Old Trafford.
Mings’ suspension could mean a first Premier League start for academy graduate Baily Cargill as manager Eddie Howe considers his options at the back.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth could be boosted by the return to fitness of Simon Francis, who has missed the last two Premier League matches with a hamstring problem.
“We’ll wait and see,” said the manager on the late decision he’ll make regarding team selection.
“There have been a couple of positives this week. Simon Francis is not far away and Baily Cargill came on and did very well on his time on the pitch last week.
“Tyrone’s suspension leaves us short with just a few games to go but we have to pick ourselves up and move on as best we can.”
