Itsagoal sources revealed that the Super Eagles will line up with three central defenders, which might see them play the now famous 3-5-2 formation against Argentina.
The flexible formation allows teams defend with 5-men when without the ball and transition is seamless and smooth.
Rohr experimented with the idea by playing the trio of Leon Balogun, Chidozie Awaziem and William Troost-Ekong as centre backs while Ola Aina and Shehu Abdullahi auditioned as left and right wing back respectively.
The midfield was anchored by rave of the moment John Ogu alongside Wilfred Ndidi, with captain John Obi Mikel playing just behind the more advanced duo of Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho in attack.
Same source has equally revealed that Chippa United goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi will start in goal today ahead of Deportivo La Coruna’s Francis Uzoho.
However, the youngster may get his chance later in the game.
