Governor Shettima gave the car to the gaffer for agreeing to switch to Maiduguri and oversee the affairs of the club despite the troubling tales of insecurity that has emanated from the North-Eastern Nigeria.
The coach is expected to better the lot of the club next season after they finished in 6th position despite remaining within touching distance of the top 3 for the majority of last season.
Amapakabo led Rangers International to their first league trophy in inn 32 years in 2016 but failed at defending the title and equally had a poor start to the CAF Champions League campaign.
