Bayern Munich returned to the summit of the Bundesliga on matchday 14 thanks to a 5-0 win over VfL Wolfsburg.
The Bavarians soared to victory as Robert Lewandowski netted a brace, Arjen Robben and Douglas Costa scored, while Thomas Muller ended his drought in the Bundesliga
While Bayern won, RB Leipzig suffered their first loss of the league season, as FC Ingolstadt earned a 1-0 shock win.
Leipzig’s shock defeat came at the hand of a header from Ingolstadt defender Roger in the first half. Their loss, coupled with Bayern’s win sees their three-match spell at the top of the table come to an end due to Bayern’s superior goal difference.
Bayern will host Leipzig at Munich’s Allianz Arena on December 21.
Borussia Dortmund now sit eight points behind both after drawing 1-1 with Cologne, who had taken the lead through Artjoms Rudnevs in the 28th minute.
Thomas Tuchel’s side looked set for defeat until Marco Reus nabbed the equaliser in stoppage time.
